Sorbonne University awarded the Culture Libre Bronze label for its SorbonNum digital heritage library.
An initiative of Wikimedia France, label Culture Libre rewards cultural institutions that incorporate the open content approach into their digital practices, i.e. encourage the re-use, including the commercial re-use, of cultural content, documents, and digitised works.
This label is based on the principles described in the Charter of Commitment for the accessibility, openness, and distribution of free content by cultural institutions.
